Welcome to StoneBridgeTruths.com
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! StonebridgeTruths.com.
I have decided to post my my experiences with K.Hovnanian, K Hov, Stonebridge
Ranch, CMA Management as a consumer alert.
K.Hovnanian sold me a house in one of their new neighborhoods
in Stonebridge Ranch, McKinney, Texas. Soon after selling me the house
and completing the build K. Hovnanian "Expanded it's product offering
to include some smaller more affordable floor plans" says Steve Pittard,
Area President for K. Hov. This is what was told to me after Jimmy Brownlee
referred me to Steve Pittard to discuss my concerns. My concerns where
that all of the houses my builder started building around my house were
much less of a house than was offered or sold to me. K.Hovnanian sold most
of these smaller, cheaper houses to investors and are now rental properties
and crime rates in our neighborhood have risen. At one point rental K.Hovnanian
properties numbered over %40. Kim Stewart sold the houses to investors
after driving them around in van loads to visit the lower income housing
that was built as if specifically for the investors in mind.
Stonebridge Ranch, Stonebridge HOA, Stonebridge Home
Owners Association, CMA Management, Buck Driggers, Steve Bone refused to
discuss this at the 2006 home owners meeting and closed the meeting once
questions started being asked about this situation. They had suggested
we meet with them in private which we had already done. Since then nothing
has been done and the situation has only deteriorated.
We moved and are now out of McKinney and Stonebridge
and would never consider buying or building in that community again after
the frustration of dealing with Stonebridge home owners association, CMA
Management and others involved. In addition, with a number of reputable
builders in the area we would not use K.Hovnanian as a builder again for
any reason.
A little of the characters living in the neighborhood
now. Police
